Vegans Double During Diamond Jubilee

The number of people leading a vegan lifestyle is estimated to have doubled * in the UK, as Vegan Society announces The Diamond Jubilee Award Winners. Winners include Supersize Me the movie for best campaign/project and Redwoods super melting vegan cheese.

November 14, 2004 -- The Vegan Society Diamond Jubilee Ball was a truly sparkling event, a worthy launch party to herald a new dawn of veganism.

Sponsors included Veggiemaster, Redwoods, Healthy and essential/VegOmegas, Tisserand, and Coop celebrating with 170 people who supported, toasted, cheered, dipped their bits in the chocolate fountain and then danced until midnight.
